Postman’s Hat

This mask is earned on the Third Day as part of the Reuniting Kafei and Anju side quest.

All-Night Mask

The All-Night Mask can be purchased from the Curiosity Shop on the night of the Final Day for 500 rupees, but it will only be available if you saved the Old Woman from the Bomb Shop from Sakon during the same 3-day cycle.

You need the Giant’s Wallet to carry 500 rupees. You must complete the Oceanside Spider House before the end of the First Day to obtain the Giant’s Wallet.

The All-Night Mask is required to obtain two Pieces of Heart.

Blast Mask

Wait in North Clock Town on the night of the First Day. At 12:30 am, Sakon, a thief, will attempt to rob the Old Woman from the Bomb Shop. When the robbery occurs, attack Sakon with your sword to make him drop the bag (do not use other weapons; they will cause the bag to explode).

As a reward, the Old Woman from the Bomb Shop will give you the Blast Mask.

The Blast Mask gives you the ability to use a bomb-like explosion anywhere. Using it will damage you, but if you raise your shield first the damage can be prevented. This gives you infinite close-range bombs.

If you save the Old Woman from the Bomb Shop, then the Bomb Shop will sell larger Bomb Bags on the Second Day of the same 3-day cycle.

Stone Mask

Purchase a Red Potion or Blue Potion from the Magic Hags’ Potion Shop in the Southern Swamp. The shop is open from 6am to 6pm on all 3 days, but it is easiest to purchase a potion on the First Day.On the Second Day or Third Day, Kotake will leave the potion shop to search for Koume, who is lost in the Woods of Mystery. If you wait until the Second Day or Third Day, you will have to find Koume before Kotake will give or sell you a potion.

Give the potion to Shiro, the invisible soldier.East of Clock Town, jump over the fences leading toward Ikana Canyon while riding Epona. There is circle of stone nearby. Use the Lens of Truth to see Shiro, a soldier, sitting in the middle of the circle of stones. Give him either a Red Potion or a Blue Potion, and he will give you with the Stone Mask.

Shiro’s location has changed in Majora’s Mask 3D. Shiro can no longer be found outside Ikana Canyon. Instead, he is located at the center of the Pirate Fortress, near the base of the tall watchtower.

Great Fairy Mask

After you have the Deku Mask, find the Stray Fairy in Clock Town again. You can find the Stray Fairy hovering over the Laundry Pool during the day or in the center of East Clock Town at night.

Take the Stray Fairy back to the Great Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town to receive the Great Fairy Mask.

Keaton Mask

This mask is earned on the Third Day as part of the Reuniting Kafei and Anju side quest.

Bremen Mask

Visit the Laundry Pool on the night of the First Day or Second Day and speak to Guru-Guru, the person playing music (and the only person there).

Listen to his story and he will reward you with the Bremen Mask.

The Bremen Mask makes animals follow you. It is used to obtain the Bunny Hood.

Bunny Hood

Visit the Cucco Shack at Romani Ranch between 6 am and 8 pm on any day. The Cucco Shack is located at the back of the ranch.

There are 10 yellow Cucco chicks wandering around the yard. Use the marching ability of the Bremen Mask to make all 10 Cucco chicks follow you at the same time. After all 10 are following you, they will begin to grow up one at a time. When all 10 have grown up, Grog will reward you with the Bunny Hood.

Make sure you continue to hold down the marching command until all 10 Cucco chicks are following you. If you let go of the button, the Cucco chicks will stop following you and you will have to start over. The Cucco chicks can sometimes be hard to see, so make sure you carefully check the yard.

The Bunny Hood makes you run faster. It is arguably the most useful mask in the game. Remember that you can access Romani Ranch on the Final Day any time after you have the Deku Mask, so you can get the Bunny Hood near the beginning of the game!

Don Gero’s Mask

After you have played the Goron Lullaby for the Goron Elder’s Son in the Goron Shrine, light a Deku Stick and quickly run down throughout the shrine and light all of the torches before any of them can burn out. When all of the torches are lit, the chandelier hanging from the roof will begin to spin.

While wearing the Goron Mask, begin rolling in the Goron Elder’s Son’s room, and roll off the ramp and smash into the pot-like ornaments hanging from the chandelier. It may take several tries, but one of the ornaments contains a rock sirloin.

Pick up the rock sirloin, and carry it to the Mountain Village. Near the path leading to Snowhead, there is a cold and hungry goron standing on a cliff wearing a green mask. Throw the rock sirloin to the hungry goron, and he will give you Don Gero’s Mask.

Scent Mask

You must defeat Odolwa in the Woodfall Temple, rescue the Deku Princess and return her to the Deku Palace before you can earn the Mask of Scents. You must complete the entire quest in the same 3 day period.If you have previously defeated Odolwa, you must re-enter the temple and defeat him again (you can teleport to the boss room from the temple entrance) in order to continue.

After returning the Deku Princess to Deku Palace, jump across the lily pads to the left of the Deku Palace to enter the Deku Shrine. Inside, speak to the Deku Butler and follow him through the maze. If you successfully follow the Deku Butler through the entire maze (the Bunny Hood is helpful), he will give you the Mask of Scents.

Romani’s Mask

Visit Romani Ranch on the First Day (you must have a Powder Keg to enter the ranch) and speak to Romani. Agree to be tested as a possible assistant; then, shoot down all the balloons while on horseback. Agree to come back to the ranch at 2:00am to defend the ranch from the Ghosts, whom Romani refers to as “them”.

Once the event begins, use the bow and arrow to shoot down every Ghost. If you let a single Ghost enter the barn, you will have to play the Song of Time and start the side quest from the very beginning. Defend the ranch until 6:00am, and the Ghosts will disappear.

Return to Romani Ranch at 6:00pm on the Second Day during the same three day cycle. Speak to Cremia, the woman with the covered wagon, and agree to ride to Clock Town with her. During the ride to Clock Town, protect the milk on the wagon from thieves using your bow and arrow. Your objective is to not allow the thieves to get close to the wagon. When you reach Clock Town, Cremia will give you Romani’s Mask as a reward for defending the milk.

Circus Leader’s Mask (Troupe Leader’s Mask)

Enter the Milk Bar in Clock Town (Romani’s Mask is required to enter) after 10:00pm on the night of the First Day or Second Day. Inside, speak to Toto, the zora standing near the stage. Agree to help him with a sound check as Link and again while wearing the Deku Mask, Goron Mask, and Zora Mask. After you have played each part of the song, Gorman, the man sitting at the bar, will be moved to tears and give you the the Circus Leader’s Mask.

Kafei’s Mask

Visit the Mayor’s Official Residence after 10 am on the First or Second Day. Enter the room on the right side and speak to Madame Aroma, the woman sitting in the chair. She will give you Kafei’s Mask.

Kafei’s Mask is used to ask for information about Kafei, who is missing. Wear this mask and speak to townsfolk to learn about Kafei. Obtaining this mask is the first step in the Reuniting Kafei and Anju side quest.

Couple’s Mask

This mask is the final reward for completing the Reuniting Kafei and Anju side quest.

Mask of Truth

The Mask of Truth is the reward for completing the Swamp Spider House. If you find all 30 Golden Skulltula Spirits, the Cursed Rich Man will be cured and he will give you the Mask of Truth.

The Mask of Truth allows you to speak with Gossip Stones for clues. The Mask of Truth also allows you to read animals’ minds. You can use this to cheat at the Doggy Race at Romani Ranch.

In Majora’s Mask 3D only, the Mask of Truth can also help you find hidden grottos. Wearing the Mask of Truth will make the ground above the grotto glow.

Kamaro’s Mask

Exit North Clock Town into Termina Field after 12:00am and before 6:00am. Walk northwest and listen for music near the giant mushroom-shaped stones. Kamaro can be found dancing on top of the giant mushroom-shaped stone that is nearest to Clock Town. Jump on top of the mushroom-shaped stone and play the Song of Healing to receive Kamaro’s Mask.

Gibdo Mask

This mask is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Ikana Canyon walkthrough for more details.

Garo Mask

This mask is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Ikana Canyon walkthrough for more details.

Captain’s Hat

This mask is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Ikana Canyon walkthrough for more details.

Giant’s Mask

This mask is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Stone Tower Temple walkthrough for more details.

Deku Mask

This mask one of the three main transformation masks and is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our The First Three Days walkthrough for more details.

Goron Mask

This mask is one of the three main transformation masks and is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Snowhead Mountain walkthrough for more details.

Zora Mask

This mask is one of the three main transformation masks and is obtained as part of the main quest. Refer to our Great Bay Coast walkthrough for more details.

Fierce Deity Mask

This mask is the final reward for obtaining all the other masks in the game. It is obtained as part of the main quest. Give all the masks to the children on The Moon to obtain the Fierce Deity Mask.
